We broke ground on Yaa Serwaa Legacy Institute
of Nketia in Ghana, West Africa in July 2023.
The Yaa Serwaa Legacy Institute of Nketia broke ground on July 8, 2023, thanks to the vision of a dedicated group of individuals who are determined to provide access to education and opportunities for the children and the community. The school is named after Yaa Serwaa, a community elder who left land to her great great grandchildren with two special requests. She wanted her family to build a house on one side and a school on the other side. This is a testament to her belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities.
The Yaa Serwaa Legacy Institute of Nketia will be more than just an institution. It will be a beacon of hope for children who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to learn in school. It will be a place where our educators nurture dreams and shape futures.
But building an institute is not easy, and that's where you come in. We need your support to make this dream a reality. Every dollar you donate will go directly toward the construction of the facility. Your contribution will make a lasting difference in the lives of children, families, and the community.
